Good days, bad days and WTF do I do now days…
I’ve coached innumerable service members and veterans through career transition.
I’ve coached civilian executives to improved performance and career success.
I’ve been an employee, an employer and am now an entrepreneur.
One of the key lessons I share with folks in transition is that the framework of their past is gone.
The former team’s momentum has evaporated.
Progress now comes by the initiative you instigate.
There will be easy days and tough days.
There will be days where wins fall out of the sky without warning.
There will be days when wins seem unobtainable, and the best next step seems undefinable.
It happens to us all.
Savor and exploit the wins. Make the very best out of them. Celebrate them.
When you have no idea what to do next, don’t shrink from the challenge.
Leverage your network. Bend a friend’s ear. Push through the negatives and create wins, no matter how small they may be. Keep eyes/ears open to the world of possibilities and don’t let the negatives overtake you.
Be well my friends. Keep up the fire!
