Transition "Out" Ain't the Same as Transitioning "In"

When entering the military, one is "joining" something well-established and populated with throngs of people, processes and resources all well-aligned and focused directly on your success.

When transitioning out, one is "creating" a whole new, unique thing in a world full of unknowns, and populated with people who's processes and practices are all unique, and who have no idea who you are (until you make yourself know).

Both can be daunting and exciting.

Both have challenge and opportunity.

But "joining" and "creating" are vastly different animals that require different preparation.
